Roy Haynes with Booker Ervin ' Cracklin' ' NEW JAZZ NJLP 8286 (USA) mono purple label with deep groove - rec. and issued in 1963 - on trail-off (dead wax) has the 'Van Gelder' Roy Haynes : drums - Booker Ervin : tenor sax - Ronnie Mathews : piano - Larry Ridley : bass Side A : Scoochie (Ervin) - Dorian (Mathews) - Sketch of Melba (R.Weston) Side B : Honey dew (Mathews) - Under Paris skies (Giroud) - Bad news blues (Haynes) Visual grading : record is VG- to VG still much lustre has some light unfeelable surface marks and tiny lines on both sides. Also has a micro bubble on third track of side A. Clean labels with several spindle marks Playing grading : record is VG to VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound. Has light background noise audible in quieter parts only. Some light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is Good has wear to corners, edges and to spine which has tiny pieces of paper missing on bottom and in the middle. Anyway titles on spine are almost all readable except for a very small part in the middle. Back cover has age yellowing and some rubbing around the edges. Back cover also has a large signature on left top corner and has stripe of missing paper on top due to a tape's removal (see pic) FOR US BUYER ATTENTION $ 4 IS NOT THE CORRECT SHIPPING COST , I WILL SEND RECORD OUT FROM ITALY.
