Virtuoso Violinist Ruggiero Ricci, Rare and Sought After audiophile UK 1st Pressing on the Decca Wide Band Grooved "Original Recording" Stereo Label SXL 2240
Visually under very bright light the vinyl is a decent example with a bright sheen, has some faint light wispy sleeve removal scuff traces, and a couple of tiny pressing flaw traces (Visually EX-). The record has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine and plays bright crisp and clear, with rich depth of tone – a lovely record. There is some surface noise and minor static ticks in places, particularly the quieter passages, which doesn’t detract too much from a very enjoyable audio experience. Some ticks and clicks here and there, there is a passage of repeating ticks towards the end of Side 1 Band 1. There are a couple of tiny pressing flaws which cause some faint background sonic type ticks to both sides. May improve with further cleaning, Audio Overall - VG+/EX-
Labels are clean, a number of light spindle traces, EX-
The sleeve has lots of general wear, discolouration, foxing etc. to the reverse, see photos. VG+
