Ruggiero Ricci.Bach Sonata No 1 For Solo Violin.LL 1706. EX Cond.Don't know much about this record.It's obviously a test pressing and is one sided only.It contains the whole of Bach's Sonata No 1 for solo violin played by Ruggiero Ricci.Vinyl is heavy and seems from the early 1960's (like an early Decca LXT).Has matrix ARL-3558-1A.Two codes on the label.One hard to make out.They can be seen clearly in the photos.I cannot find information about any early 1960's UK Decca recordings of this repertoire made by Ricci.Perhaps this recording was never released?That would be something.If you have any knowledge about this I would be glad to hear.
