Rush - Permanent Waves - 1980 Vinyl LP - RARE COVER -

DEWEI DEFEATS TRUMAN newspaper headlines - these were erased later.

Also on cover Lee, Peart & Lifeson written on the signs in the background - these are missing on some covers.
Also, on side two record label, it lists track 2 as "BETWEEN US" (a translation of track 1's title!), but it should be listed as "DIFFERENT STRINGS".  It also says that "Between Us" was written by Geddy Lee!!!!

Mercury CAT no 9100 071

Matrix nos 9100071 1Y//2 ET 1 1 1 stamped, and "GEOFF'S & RAYS" etched on side one run-off 9100071 2Y//1 ET 1 1 2 stamped on side two run-off.
I purchased this LP on 2nd February 1980, a couple of weeks after it was released. It has only been played twice since 1990, plus I have just listened to it today.
Record is very good, but there are a couple of visible scuffs on side one. There are a few clicks between tracks 1 & 2 and between tracks 2 & 3 on side one, also during track 3 quiet parts. There is a click on track 2, and clicks at the start of track 3 on side two,

Original non-laminated sleeve is EXCELLENT, a bit scuffed on edges, slight disc-shaped crease on the front,
a small label stuck on the front, and my name and purchase date written on the back.

Original poly-lined double-bagged inner sleeve containing photos and lyrics is excellent

Will be packaged in a cardboard album box, and sent by 2nd class Royal Mail "Signed For".
