This little girl's gone rockin'
Rare Original 1st press UK 45" released in 1961 on the Tri-Centre Black & Silver London Records Label. Cat: HLE8757. Comes with original London Paper sleeve which is in Excellent condition.
They called Atlantic Records "the house that Ruth built" during the 1950s, and they weren't referring to the Sultan of Swat. Ruth Brown's regal hitmaking reign from 1949 to the close of the '50s helped tremendously to establish the New York label's predominance in the R&B field.
These singles are part of a lovely collection of original English 45's brought to Australia over 30 years ago when an English couple migrated to Australia. An avid music fan this gentleman followed many of the bands in the day from the late 50's through the 60's seeing everyone from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Animals, Yardbirds, Bo Diddley, Gene Vincent just to name a few. These singles are a great representation of his passion for rock N roll and the many artists who were playing at the time. Most of them are still with original record company paper sleeves and are all in amazing condition considering they are over 50 years old!! I look forward to listening and listing them for you over the next month...
Tracks : This little girl's gone rockin'/ Why me. Both labels are clean of marks, sticker stains or tears. Record has some light scuff marks,, there one or two very light crackles throughout.
