Description

This is a rare 45 RPM King Records ERROR/Misprint single featuring Hand(Hank) Ballard and The Midnighters on both sides of the label. The vinyl record is in black color and comes in a paper sleeve case. The release title is "The Twist" and it was produced in 1959. The record grading is Good Plus (G+) and it is a single format. The language is English and the record size is 7". The artist, Hank Ballard, is known for his unique style of rock, R&B, and soul music. This record is a great addition to any vinyl collection and is a must-have for fans of 1950s music. It is a United States product and is perfect for music enthusiasts who appreciate rare finds. Super VHTF ERROR name Of "Hand" instead of Hank Ballard. Early 1st print misprint on original King label Corrected to Hank Ballard early on. "The Twist" predates Chubby Checkers version by 1 year. peaking at number 28 This is the original artist and recording of this classic oldies song. Sounds better than the Checker version altho both have the same lyrics and music in them. Very hard to find info on this "ERROR" on the net. I found 1 listing in this version but not what site it was(Ebay, Discogs, Popsike, 45 rpm records, etc.) If you are a collector of 1st release vinyl, you need this for your collection. Photos show exact item you will receive. Runoff etched numbers areas are as shown on label. Upon release, the "A" side Teardrops On Your Letter was supposed to be the "play" side, but when some DJ'S flipped it over and played the "B" side, it became the hit that everyone knows. Label # is shown with Jay&Cee-Armo BMI with a length of 2:33 for "B' side and 2:50 for the "A' side. Not known how many copies of this particular "Hand" name were released, but I would bet not many.
