Description
As can be seen from the pictures this record is in great condition and has been well looked after.
Seldom seen in this condition, and an original UK 1961 'SAX' Stereo Columbia on the lovely Green & Silver labels!
Record must grade at Ex+, I can only see 1, very light mark on side 1 around 1cm long, hardly noticeable, with only a couple of spindle marks. Very nice and clearly hardly played, you'd struggle to get better. It comes in it's original EMI inner sleeve which is in fantastic condition, no splits, poly lining intact and minimal creasing.
Cover grades at Ex, it's solid with minimal wear!
The front is very clean and tidy with only one small, light crease to the top of the spine (it doesn't even go through the spine to the rear of the cover!), the spine itself is intact and the corners are free from anything more than the absolute minimum of wear. The rear is clean with only some small, minor age spots from over 55 years in storage, hardly noticeable and definitely not intrusive. There's some very slight laminate lifting to the bottom flipback (the picture makes it look like it's separated from the flipback - it hasn't, it's just bubbled slightly and the light has caught it), and I think there might be a strip missing from the top flipback, but it's so neat I wouldn't be surprised if it happened during manufacture and it's been like that since 1961! It was only when I came to thoroughly check the cover prior to listing that I even noticed myself, and I don't think you can tell in the pictures.
All very minor but I wish to be as clear and honest as I can with my gradings as I am a collector myself.
There's no writing, no tears or anything else that would detract.

Clearly this album has been stored well by its previous owner, played on top equipment and looked after for it's life, and this is represented by it's brilliant condition, the pictures don't do it justice!
