Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This must be a very obscure/rare 2nd press from many moons ago ... the cover looks absolutely identical to the original, for all purposes it is, but the label is not the known Sonet pressing. Listened carefully and the sound is exactly the same as our Sonet release in personal collection.
Saga are a guitar based rock band founded by ex-November members. Great fuzzed-out bluesy guitar ferociously played over jazz, hard rock, folk, and progressive styled tunes.Saga sounded like a bit more progressive/psychedelic version of November with emphasis on creating Nordic-styled atmospheres and mixing different influences like hardrock, fusion, folk and blues. The guitarwork is powerful through the whole album and even if the lyrics are in Swedish it doesn't matter. ''Saga'' follows a guitar-based sound, but the moods change rapidly from uplifting tunes to more melancholic soundscapes and the listener can hardly catch up with them. Opening piece ''Djaevulens laeppar'' is great Scandinavian Psych/Prog with impressive, dramatic vocals and a nice instrumental development. Particular partsof the album contain some full-blown guitar exercises, with an amalgam of folky themes, acoustic textures and electric explosions.
Similar in sound to many of the 1970s Swedish groups, though this is quite a bit more expressive in places, taking it to a higher level. In fact, for the style, perhaps the highest level! How many bands from the modern era (especially from Scandinavia) have we heard trying to capture this very sound? Hear the real deal first, before sampling the imitators. The last two tracks are nothing short of phenomenal.
