The Sea Urchins - Pristine Christine
SARAH001 7” Single with wrap-around picture sleeve, original poly bag and poster in mint condition C86. Indie.
You will not find a better copy of this rare item.
The Holy Grail for Sarah Records and Indie C86 collectors, this is indeed pristine as the single remains un-played and the poster has never (to the best of my knowledge) been unfolded. The wraparound cover is unmarked and un-creased, the labels show no spindle lines and are unmarked. But most importantly the only time the vinyl has come out of its inner bag is to check it for this listing. The record has been stored in a box for many years and is part of a bigger collection belonging to two people who worked in record shops and around independent distribution through the 80s and beyond.
If you are looking at this listing the chances are you will appreciate what is on offer. It is one of several highly collectable items that we are putting up for sale and other items will include 7”, 12” singles and LPs by the likes of The Pastels, Shop Assistants, Jasmin Minks, June Brides, Divine Comedy, Wedding Present, Brilliant Corners, The Siddeleys, The Freshies, Mighty Mighty, Josef K, The Jazz Butcher and one or two records from New Zealand label Flying Nun by the Chills and The Clean. Most are in immaculate condition, at worst a strong VG++ with many being mint and un-played, with original posters, postcards, free 7”, etc. As you will appreciate, such things do not come up very often.
According to eBay rules we are not allowed to list postage and packing for this item over £4.50. However, to ensure that this item is fully insured during postage it will be sent by Special Delivery at a cost to the buyer of £ 6.50.
