Sealed Test Pressing

This is a SEALED Classic Records 180 gram Test Pressing. The music is pressed on a double-sided 33 rpm disc containing the complete album. Although this record -- like most test pressings -- comes in a plain white jacket, we are throwing in a BEAUTIFUL Classic cover! These Classic Records are long out of print and highly unlikely to ever be reissued. Early 180 gram pressings such as these tend to be quieter and flatter than the current 200 gram pressings. As these rare test pressings are sealed or unplayed there is no way to guarantee that they are perfectly flat or perfectly quiet. They are offered 'as is'.

Inside the jackets you will find a 180 gram test pressing from RTI with a label very much like the one below.

This record came from a collection of test pressings previously owned by a well known tonearm maker. There are close to five hundred STILL SEALED LPs in the collection, some at 33 RPM, some at 45 RPM, some single sided, some double sided. Practically every title Classic Records had released up until about 1997 is in this collection, including recordings from RCA, Mercury, Epic, Rock The House, Verve, Colgems and many more. NOTE ON PACKING AND SHIPPING You will never receive a record from us packed in a flimsy cardboard mailer. We use HEAVY DUTY oversized cardboard boxes with cardboard protectors sandwiching the record and plenty of bubble wrap all around. After more than twenty years in the record business one thing we know is how to pack records properly, so rest assured the package will arrive at your door safe and sound.

This is a factory sealed record, long out of print. This record cannot be guaranteed against defects of any kind once opened. This item is only sold "as is".
