Description

This is only one of two original '60s Sealed BEATLES lps I have left from my older Brothers collection, called: THE BEATLES YESTERDAY AND TODAY, on U.S. CAPITOL ST-2553. He had a handful of original still sealed lps that I have been posting on ebay for the last few months, most were sold to delighted Beatles collectors. It gives me pleasure to have made them available so they can be appreciated and find a good home in a mint collection. I wish I did not have to sell them, none the less I am glad I could make them available. This one is another with the number 3 factory code near RIAA logo on back cover, and because it was purchased at the same store as the others it has a number 4 stamped on the back shrink wrap, this was their price code. There is a very tiny bit of blue ink around that number 4 and on the front I noticed a few faint blue marks also from the ink. these are quite insignificant and I am sure with one swipe of alcohol they will come right off.  I wanted to leave everything just the way it was when bought in the '60s. The shrink wrap is very  clean no stains, scrapes, writing, or tears except for one ever so tiny tear top right corner and the same bottom right corner, you have to look very close to see them, shrink only has very mild wear on the front and back, and has 2 evenly spaced and perfectly round breathe holes on the back, they are closer to the bottom seam, one is just below the small photo of the Beatles Story, the other on the empty rectangle that says more great albums for your beatles collection. Cover itself is perfect except for a slight hint of browning top right corner and extremely faint near RIAA logo. All corners are perfect except for the bottom right corner ever so slightly pushed in, it is only noticeable from the back, and is hardly worth mentioning. The shrink is tightly over the seams, spine and opening side it is very hard to see color of inner sleeve. This cover also has NO punch holes, saw cuts, cut corners, rivets, etc. Seams and spine are strong with no splits, flaking, or wear, also no wrinkles, stains on cover, tears, etc. My brother did most of his buying in the mid to late '60s, that is when he purchased these. I do remember it well, we were both teens in the '60s and both very different. He would buy things never use them, and keep them forever. I was the opposite. One last thing I would like to mention is that this cover  has a gold RIAA record award logo on front, this does not mean it is not an original. I have had other lps from his collection that were open , they all had original Capitol labels without sub print and because this has the number 3 factory code, I am guaranteeing thats what this lp is. I have also had many lps with this logo on front such as Meet the Beatles, they were originals as well. The cover is quite heavy and rigid, the cardboard is very thick. I am going to make this one available with no reserve. Good luck!Your satisfaction is guaranteed, bid with confidence. Buyer pays actual shipping cost, Plus $1 for lp mailer box.
