Description
original reggae album produced by The Mad Professor: Sergeant Pepper JUDGEMENT DAY (Ariwa records)
original Ariwa handstamped pressing
SERGEANT PEPPER
JUDGEMENT DAY
Absolutley essential riddims and reasonings from the aptly named Sergeant Pepper, named after The Beatles landmark recording, with this early Mad Professor masterpiece JUDGEMENT DAY. Spacey, breathing dubs anchor this set of original compositions with a little help from friends like Horsemouth Wallace, Preacher, Terry Crooks, and many others with the omnipresent Sgt. Pepper chiming in by playing nearly every style of instrument while also doing lead vocals. Highlights include "Time A Go Get Dread", "Dancing To Reggae Music", the title track, "Two Wrongs", "Rain" (not the Lennon/McCartney song), "Wake Up" and more. Thoughtful, brilliant early 1980s UK reggae at its best. Apocalyptic and awakening. Neil Fraser ya rule! The ORIGINAL Ariwa records UK hand-stamped label vinyl is in mint condition with no warp, no skips, no scratch, no surface noise. Appears new. The original cover is also in great shape with no split seams, no bent corners, a very minor disc imprint on top of back cover only. No handwriting anywhere. See my other current auctions for more unusual items from Midnight Dread this week on eBay.
