Description

• Disc condition: VG+ The vinyl is flat to the deck, clean labels, centre intact. Spindle wear unable to determine on this single. Due to the compacted grooves (likely cut by EMI house engineer Nick Webb) this single is tough to grade by visuals only. It looks more or less as excellent but plays with just a little crackle, and so VG+(+), powerful punchy audio no deterioration in sound.

• Sleeve condition: VG+ EMI company original paper sleeve, light creases/handling to it.

• Matrix: (machine stamped) EMI 2566 A-1 1 GL EMI 2566 B-2 1 GD (this is likely cut by Nick Webb - but uncredited here, usually credited variously as "Nicks" or "Nick W" and others. The cut technique on this 7" is exactly EMI's engineer Nick Webb).

• This is the second pressing of their debut single, also issued in 1976, but with a corrected producer credit for Dave Goodman on the B-side label. Comes with the original red EMI company sleeve. Nice copy of rare EMI UK factory sample issue! Don't miss!
