Description
You are looking at an unplayed red vinyl 7” single of ‘God Save the Queen’by The Sex Pistols. This is a Reproduction copy of the hyper-rare withdrawn A & M original, which was of course only pressed on black vinyl.
I bought this single some 7-10 years ago at a record fair.
Immediately after purchase, I slid the record into a Repro of another A & M stock die-cut single sleeve to retain the quality of the more familiar black A & M repro sleeve the record came in. I then sheathed both the sleeved single and the other sleeve in a clear, heavy duty PVC outer sleebe. The single has been stored carefully ever since in my smoke-free home. I’m only selling as I really need to make some space (and yes, I have another copy on a different coloured wax that I’m keeping!).
I would grade this record as Near Mint to Mint (as I say, it is unplayed, but I reserve Mint grading only for items that are still sealed in shrinkwrap) and the same grading for the sleeve...
The record will be supplied in the PVC outer sleeve.. Check my feedback from other buyers who have bought vinyl from me recently for an idea of the quality of my goods and service.
