Considered one of the greatest cellists of the 20th century, celebrated Russian virtuoso Daniel Shafran (1923-90) performs two gorgeous cello sonatas recorded several weeks after his American debut at Carnegie Hall. Superb RCA sound recording & one of the most sought after cello recordings!!!
Record is in NEAR MINT- condition. Side 1 (1s-Indianapolis) has one very light mark that does not sound & Side 2 (5s) has 3 light marks that do not sound. Jacket with original inner-sleeve is in NM condition. This is the very scarce original Living Stereo Shaded Dog issue. Don’t miss out on this superb cello recording!
