Shelly Manne My Son The Jazz Drummer! 1963 Contemporary LP LAC550 Mono For this rare album drummer Shelly Manne brought together a small group of other jazz luminaries to create modern jazz versions of favourite Jewish and Israeli songs. The other musicians are: Shorty Rogers (trumpet/flugelhorn), Teddy Edwards (tenor sax), Victor Feldman (piano/vibes), Al Viola (guitar), and Monty Budwig (bass).
