DESCRIPTION

Siddha - “A Very Gentle Force: This World / A Different World” Tulasi Manjari Record Co. no catalog number (Stereo) from 1976. Hard to find Original Vinyl Psych / Folk / Rock album from Siddha aka Jagad Guru Chris Butler, etc . Features backing by the cream of the L.A. Studio crew including Dennis Budimir, Carol Kaye, Ian Underwood, Ralph Grierson, Larry Bunker, Joe Arcaro, Shelby Flint, Tommy Morgan, Don Ashworth and Nathan Kaprov. In the Original Cover with Embossed Gold Foil Lettering and NO Cutouts, promo markings or Barcode. Includes the Original 16 page Lyrics / Pictures / Notes Booklet and the Picture and Credits Insert Sheet.

CONDITION

The Sleeve is in okay shape. There is shelf wear, edge creasing and corner softening/wear. The spine is worn so that it is mostly split except for the middle 4 inches. Still, pretty solid with no other splits, stains, tears, cutouts, writing, etc. and would still probably rate VG overall. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking pretty lightly played. There ars some light scuffs, marks and a couple faint hairlines - no actual scratches i.e. something that can be felt with a fingernail. A good VG visually and plays mostly VG+ or better with just a couple spots of barely audible groove noise that might well be improved with a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. The Labels are Near Mint as are the Insert and Book other than on faint brown spot on the cover of the book.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If I provide Play Grades it is done as a courtesy but I only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
