Description

SUPREMES - "I Hear a Symphony" Motown Records, M 643. SIGNED BY THREE FOUNDING MEMBERS! DIANA ROSS, MARY WILSON, AND **FLORENCE BALLARD!!!

"To Kbpi Love THE SUPREMES 1964"  Signed Diana Ross, Mary Wilson (with a heart in quotations), and Flo Ballard"  This record and it's signatures are, without question, authentic and came to my record shop along with several other signed records that had been gifted to the Local Denver Radio Station KBPI over the years.
*In 1976, Ballard died of a coronary thrombosis at the age of thirty-two. Her death has been called "one of rock's greatest tragedies".  Ballard had prior been dismissed from The Supremes in July 1967 due to chronic depression and alcoholism.
If you have ANY questions about this item, need more pictures, or anything else that I am able to answer concerning the record, please contact me and I will be glad to help. *I GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE SIGNATURES!  The record was donated to my shop by an elderly woman who had worked in the 60's and 70's as a DJ at Denver Colorado's KBPI radio station.  Several items she gave me were signed, but this one was most priceless.  The signatures are very distinct and can easily be reecognized as authentic.  The script stating "To Kbpi Love THE Supremes" was obviously written be Diana and even reflects a her struggles at the time with literacy and writing.

*Condition:
The cover -  is in very good (VG+) condition. Considering the age of the record it really is in good shape, however, it has a solid ringwear both on the front, and somewhat on the back, as well as some minor wear on the edges.
The vinyl - is in Very Good shape (VG), There are some scratches on the record itself, but it is still very playable.  It really is in good shape, but if you do actually listen to it, there WILL be pops and crackles.  Without playing it myself, I can say that it should sound great with little distraction.

Good Luck!!
Serious Bidders ONLY please!

Grading Policy for LPHound's Vinyl House
*COVER and VINYL rated separately unless graded as "M" (Mint).
I am very strict in my grading, in that what most sellers on Ebay might call VG+ or some rating like NM or ridiculously claim an M (Mint) grading on a record, my grading is "by the book". and is as follows:

M = Sealed or ultra ultra untouched and clean, looking to be straight from the press, never "shelved". *Both Cover and Vinyl
NM = Absolutely BEAUTIFUL VINYL or COVER! "Shiney" with NO visible marks of any kind.
VG+ = May have the slightest scratch, scuff, spot, or fingerprint.  For the most part, these defects should have no affect on the audio quality in any significant manner.
VG = Pretty Good shape, but does show significant wear including scratches, scuffs, marks, etc., that will most likely affect the audio quality.  Still, very playable.
Anything in worse condition will most likely not be posted or will have a detailed description concerning the damages to the record.

I do my best to grade the records that I post according to the ratings above, but please do realize, this is vinyl.  I can't visually see every pop, skip, wobble, or grit sound, nor do I play every record I sell to find out how well its audio quality is.  I will always do my best to make sure however that you will be very satisfied with the purchase both before and after the sale.
