SIGNED* Yardbirds Promo 45 RPM record - Jimmy Page, Keith Relf, Jim McCarty, Chris Dreja, Richard Cole - 5/19/68
Here is the story that goes with this very unique collector's item, as told to me:
In 1968 Donna, an avid Yardbirds fan, had a friend named Judy who was a flight attendant. As chance would have it, on May 19, 1968, both Donna's parents and the Yardbirds were on Judy's flight. Knowing that Donna was a fan, Judy collected the signatures from the band and their tour manager on a promotional copy of their latest single and gave it to Donna's parents. Judy memorialized the event on the other side of the record sleeve.
* NOTE: I am not an expert on autographs. I wasn't there either. So its just a story to me....and a d*mned good one at that! Anyway, I did look at photos of authenticated signatures and these look right to me! But ultimately the decision is yours to make. Please look at the photos and contact me with questions.
