If you're not much of a record collector you may be wondering why a seemingly ordinary vintage LP by Simon & Garfunkel is worth so much. After all, didn't they press millions of them? Well yes,...and no. By 1968 most all record companies were pushing stereo records over mono. Consequently with big sellers like S&G at the time, a LOT less mono copies were being pressed. A lot less. Besides that, the mono mix is different from the stereo mix on most tracks on this album. So that's pretty much why it's a much more valuable record than the (regular) stereo version. That the album still has the poster with it (in great condition too) is icing on the cake. I have seen copies in the same condition as this one selling (not just listed) for much more than I'm asking.

COVER = VG (No seam splits); VINYL = VG (Completely play-tested, sounded pretty good with crackle in the beginning, some surace noise here and there in quieter moments but no bad clicks, no skipping or repeating.)
