This is a RARE, UNIQUE AND PROBABLY A ONE OFF !!! UK MASTER ROOM DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE 12" BY THE CREATURES / SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES + HAWKWIND from 1981, ORIGINAL UK MASTER ROOM ACETATE IN AMAZING CONDITION AND A MUST !!! This DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE also comes with THE ORIGINAL MASTER ROOM STUDIOS SLEEVE !!!
Now here is the story, side 1 has the 5 tracks that appeared on THE CREATURES - 1981 "WILD THING" DOUBLE 7" SINGLE, although this was originally credited on this acetate to SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES and later on crossed out and THE CREATURES written in pen. Now the real mystery is on the other side there are 2 tracks from HAWKWIND 1981 album "SONIC ATTACK" the tracks are: SONIC ATTACK and ROCKY PATHS which are tracks 1 and 2 on side one of the album. All I can assume is that both THE CREATURES EP and the HAWKWIND album came out in the same year and same month, both were mastered at the MASTER ROOM and somehow 2 tracks from the HAWKWIND album were cut onto the other side of this acetate. Another interesting fact is that THE CREATURES - "WILD THING" EP NEVER CAME OUT AS A 12" !!! OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS I WILL BE LISTING A LOT OF UNIQUE TEST PRESSING / ACETATES / PROMOS FROM A RETIRED RADIO PERSON, SO PLEASE WATCH MY AUCTION !!! The ACETATE was pressed in the MASTER ROOM STUDIO !!! The tracks are: SIDE 1: SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES / THE CREATURES - MAD EYED SCREAMER / SO UNREAL / BUT NOT THEM / WILD THING / THUMB. SIDE 2: HAWKWIND - SONIC ATTACK / ROCKY PATHS. The condition is: ACETATE is in amazing EX/EX+++ condition (UNPLAYED, NO SPINDLE MARKS, but has minor plastic inner sleeve sweat marks, not effecting play), also comes with the ORIGINAL MASTER ROOM SLEEVE !!! DON'T LET THIS RARE UK SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES / HAWKWIND DOUBLE SIDED TOWN HOUSE ACETATE 12" get away as you will NEVER see another one.
