Description

One of a handful of assorted exotic vinyl rarities we have just had in, see our me page for more. Cost per item for postage is much lower on multiple purchases, see our store for similar vinyl.

SOFT MACHINE Fourth LP 1971 UK CBS 1st Press Near MINT A1B1 stampers and Original Inner. Canterbury prog jazz rock at its finest. Dark orange one eye labels correct for the year, lowest possible A1B1 stampers. Lovely clean playing surfaces and barely a spindle to the labels also, a very clean low plays 1st year issue of a low selling album when it came out, too weird for most at the time!. The ORIGINAL 1st Printing 'E.J.Day' FULLY 'Textured' Cover is in fractionally below near mint condition because the original 1971 price of  £2.29 is written in neat tiny pen to the corner, with rubs but no splits to seams. 1st type inner sleeve (which is uncreased and clean, but is centre split to the right hand side, where the lp faces the opening, only fault) lists the other 6400 series albums of the time, with the emphasis on the Greatest Hits issues by the label. This is not warped and plays near mint, heard on a high end system.

we pack in hard card custom made new boxes.
