Description

This is a fine 1968 US pressing copy of the landmark debut LP by British psychedelic jazz-rockers the Soft Machine.  This is the only LP to feature the original incarnation of the group with Kevin Ayers and future Gong mastermind Daevid Allen.  The record was recorded in NYC, and curiously wasn't released in the band's native Britain.  This copy comes with the censored, non-die cut standard jacket.  It is close to M- with a small cutout hole, light ring wear on the back cover, and light corner, spine, and seam wear (EX+).  The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise (EX).  The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
