While you’re saving up nearly £200 for a top-priced one on eBay, this old USA issue may do! ORIGINAL – NOT a new reissue!
Record side one is unmarked and near mint. Side two is excellent. One light line on track one seen under strong light does not affect play.
The thick card sleeve is all good – little edge wear and small punch hole. NO rips, splits or writing. LP in original ABC/Dunhill printed inner sleeve.
As an important part of the Canterbury scene, Soft Machine were formed in mid-1966 and became one of the first British psychedelic groups.
No personnel on the sleeve but it is: Mike Ratledge – piano, Lowrey organ, Hammond organ, harpsichord, flute / Hugh Hopper – bass guitar, acoustic guitar, alto sax / Brian Hopper – soprano, tenor sax / Robert Wyatt - drums, vocals
