Tracks: Dadda / Lalle
In 1931, Pathé issued three discs, what I believe are the very first recordings from Somalia - a country/region where almost no early recording was made until the 1950s. This is one of them. They are two group unaccompanied vocal tracks. "Lalle" is described on the disc as a marriage song for men, and "Dadda" is a marriage song for women.
Important regional recordings and in near perfect shape.
Condition: EE+ (beautiful!)
