1970 SPR album




This is an original 1970 pressing from the Southern Preservation Records label (SPR) and is SPR 2. It’s got loads of fascinating recordings that are nearly impossible to find on 78rpm, and even on this 47 year old album, are really scarce on vinyl too. Very descriptive liner notes will give you lots to read while listening to this remarkable album. All of these are sourced off original 78rpms so there might be some noise inherent in the original souce material. It is not from this pressing. This vintage blues album is from the personal collection of blues researcher / writer Mack McCormick and is being sold to raise some needed funds for the Texas Musicians Museum. We appreciate any help in our mission to preserve music.
