Records shipped with the United States will be shipped in record mailer, via USPS Media Mail.
Records shipped internationally will be packed the same way, and shipped via USPS. $35 may seem high, but I'm tired of getting burned on shipped, when I charge too little. At time of shipping, if the actual USPS cost is less than $35, I will refund the difference.
