Description
Speedball "NSU " White Label COMA 1 1978 Ex - condition Island records offered Ed Hollis (Eddie and the Hot Rods manager) his own imprint to be called Speedball records. After a series of recording sessions involving John Perry, Mike Kellie (Only Ones) and others, over the summer of 1978,the idea was eventually dropped. This left half a dozen white label copies that were eventually produced as a Skydog LP "Punks from the underground". It was rumoured that a white label copy existed of a cover of the Cream's "NSU" and it surfaced at an auction (Omega)in 2021 where I purchased it. It appears to only have been played a few times.
I have been buying and selling records for over 40 years and will always inspect them under a strong light and play them to ensure an accurate grade.
