Offered for sale is a very rare 12" vinyl LP of Spiceworld by the Spice Girls. The catalogue number is VIRGIN V2850. It comes complete with its original inner sleeve.
Released in 1997 when vinyl sales were in sharp decline, not many copies were pressed or sold, making this a rare find today.
It’s in fairly good condition, especially considering its age; the original inner sleeve has been kept separate from the record itself, and as a result is very well preserved, though there are minor creases (see pictures). The outer sleeve is showing its age more. There are no splits or tears anywhere, but there is a scuff along the top edge about an inch and a half long (see picture) there are also some short creases in the bottom right corner on the rear side (see picture). But there are no signs of ringwear, and it’s aged quite well overall.
The vinyl itself looks clean and clear – to be honest I’ve never played it as I’m not sure it’s ever been played, but it looks clean and fine. The labels are both clean, with no spindle marks.
Overall this is a good copy of this very rare LP, and would make a great addition to anyone’s collection.
