This is my EX / EX condition UK ORIGINAL PINK ISLAND LABEL / ORANGE 'EYE' copy of this RARE JAZZ LP - ILPS 9079. The vinyl is in great shape with no scratches or serious marks at all. It plays great with hardly any noise in the quiet bits and between the tracks. A clean on a modern machine would produce a MINT copy! The pink labels are clean and tidy with no visible spindle marks at all! The black non-laminated sleeve (usually a disaster!) is in great shape with a hint of colour loss in the shape of the disc on the top front cover , some slight loss of colour on the left hand side neaqr the spine, due to storage and a couple of small creases near the record opening. For this style of non-laminate G&L cover, this is an easy EX! The rear of the sleeve is 'tabbed' in EMI style and is also non-laminated but is in great shape, with a hint of colour loss and creasing only around the tabb. The spine id fully readable but has a few spots of black rubbed away ove5r the years in storage. A GREAT COPY of this RARE ISLAND LP. AND WHAT WONDERFUL AND INCREDIBLY STRANGE JAZZ THEY MADE! MONSTER!
