Excellent condition record and picture sleeve from the Stains- John Wayne was a Nazi and Born to Die 7" single. From 1981? by Radical Records. The sleeve has a couple of minor creases and is in excellent overall shape. As I understand it this is the very tough to find version before they became MDC and rereleased this song. The interior has what appears to be a printed signature.
In about 1991 I went to a garage sale on the north side of Tucson, Arizona. The couple having the sale clearly were not the original owners of the singles I have up this week and we got into a conversation about where they came from. They had taken a family trip to England about 1981 and their son had gotten into punk rock a little bit. He picked up just a few Punk, Goth, and Industrial 7' singles and ep's. When they got home he picked up a few more before getting into heavy metal and dropping out of the punk scene entirely. He ends up in college at Arizona and is working towards a Phd in chemistry- this is about 1988-90, sorry I can't remember for certain. His, aaah, side work is with a homegrown meth. lab. The lab explodes and kills him one day and his very distraught girlfriend takes her own life a few days later. All of the stuff he had left at his parents house ended up in their yardsale a few years later when they felt they could part with it. I have had these singles for almost 20 years now and figured I can let them go. I think I played each of them twice to record them and that was it. Here is your chance to get a couple of real rarities.
