Jazz doesn't get much better than this : Stanley Turrentine, Kenny Burrell, Shirley Scott, Bob Cranshaw, and Otis Finch in top form. What an amazing album!

The appearance of the vinyl is excellent. Look hard under a bright light and you might just be able to detect the odd wispy hairline or tiny paper scuff but that's all. Lovely sheen. Great groove definition, as always on these classic heavy duty slabs of 60's Blue Note vinyl. 

Each label is excellent+. All writing remains perfectly defined, as does the matt finish. Just a couple of very faint spindle traces on side 2...actually, I would say that the side 1 label is perfect!

The thick cardboard outer sleeve is VG+. All corners and edges remain rigid and well defined and no creasing.There are some minor surface marks on the spine which I have tried to show in my photos - nothing serious and all writing remains perfectly intact. The reverse side suffers from a little age discolouration (as does the top of the front side) and towards the top left hand corner there is what looks like a small patch of light stain - again, nothing serious. Inevitably there is a hint of grubbiness but remember that you are looking at a 53 year old non-laminated outer sleeve. The iconic front side has retained much of it's original colour vibrancy. Still impressive even after all these years!

And finally there is the quality of the audio, which is simply stunning. No clicks, no crackle or interference, no "pops"...just pure, unadulterated crystal clear jazz musicianship of the highest calibre. Just sit back and enjoy these jazz supremos at their respective peaks.

Comes in original Blue Note inner, with no tears or splits and still fully functional. Note even the usual nasty creases. Brilliant!

Every serious jazz fan should have this album in their collection - a masterclass.

On the subject of postage, I take great care in the packaging of all items, using a proper vinyl cardboard mailer along with at least two cardboard stiffeners. I take great care in removing the record from the outer sleeve in order to prevent sleeve damage in transit and I always insert the vinyl, outer sleeve and inner into a clear plasic sleeve, thus adding further protection. 

For this item postage & packaging will be Royal Mail 1st class  : UK £3.00, continental Europe £6, and Rest of the World £9. However, for items selling for more than £50 to non-UK buyers (and selling for more than £100 to UK buyers), I insist upon "tracked and signed for" postage, which will add a further £2-5 onto postage costs, dependent upon location. So, please...do NOT pay before I have invoiced you. I do discount post & packaging costs for multiple purchases. I do NOT profit from postage.

Descriptions of any records I sell comply with the Rare Record Price Guide grading guidelines :

Mint

Description: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good

Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

Fair 

Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor

Description: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad

Description: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
