Description: This is a very nice copy of the debut LP by the Swiss minimal wave trio Starter, which was released in Germany by the Repertoire label in 1981.
Additional Info: Excellent debut LP by Starter, who hailed from Switzerland, and made some additional records a few years later. Musically, I'd say the sound of this record falls about halfway between Indochine and Grauzone (indeed, two of the songs here have a partial writing credit to Stefan Eicher), sometimes upbeat and snappy, other times slow and serious. This album also contains their cult hit "Minijupe", the video for which is posted on the internet in a few places, so check that out if you don't know their sound. A true classic, don't miss it!
