Status Quo PILEDRIVER UK LP 1ST VERTIGO SWIRL 1Y1/2Y1 EX/EX RARE

This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system.  I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - Rare 1st UK pressing of Pildriver by Status Quo. Released 1972 on the original Vertigo swirl label. Catalogue no. 6360 082. 1st UK press matrix endings 1//Y, 2//Y. Please note I do not have the swirl inner sleeve. The sleeve for this record is a replacement plain white poly-lined inner sleeve

Vinyl Condition:- EX+. Great condition and sound quality. Gleaming vinyl with nothing more than a few very faint hairlines caused by removing from sleeve, these are only visible when the record is viewed at an angle under bright light. This record has been fully test played before this auction

Sleeve Condition:- EX. Nice condition. Some very tiny amount of partial ringwear on the back. On the white parts of the sleeve there are very minor faint blemishes and light wear from rubbing but nothing serious. The overall condition is EX. There is no wear or splits etc to the edges and corners. The spine is crisp and fully readable.

Label Condition:- EX. Clean condition with a few light spindle marks

 Grading Abbreviations

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
