1. Mobile Fidelity Original Master Recording JVC Japan First Pressing (MFSL 1-033)
Original Master Recording LP pressed in extremely limited quantities by Japan Victor Corporation (JVC) in Japan utilizing the highest quality virgin super vinyl and a proprietary state of the art stamping process with specially plated lacquers cut directly from the orginal master session tapes, lovingly half speed mastered by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. This LP is from the first MFSL run, with the first stamper, first jacket printing, first inserts, etc. Most sonically spectacular of the three. The sort of sound that makes any stereo sound good and the best stereos sound other-worldy.
2. Cisco Original Master Recording RTI First Pressing (Cisco CLP-1006)
Original Master Recording LP pressed in extremely limited quantities by Record Technologies Incorporated (RTI) in the USA utilizing the highest quality 200 gram virgin vinyl and a proprietary state of the art stamping process with specially plated lacquers cut directly from the orginal master session tapes, lovingly half speed mastered by Kevin Gray of Acoustech for Cisco Records. This LP is from the first Cisco run, with the first stamper, first jacket printing, first inserts, etc. Warm sound with exquisite details, comparable to Steve Hoffman DCC LP mastering.
3. ABC First Edition, First Pressing (ABC AA-1006)
Purchased the first day the LP was issued in the US, and kept sealed until recently. Best jacket printing job we've ever seen! So glossy you easily can see your reflection. Gorgeous original sound -- the sound that changed your idea of what rock music can be.
I am the original owner of all three LPs. All LPs and jackets have been well cared for at all times and stored upright, in a protective cover in a smoke-free, climate controlled home. Played 1-2 times only on a well-maintained, high end turntable with a new MicroBenz Ruby III Reference Cartridge.
