SOMEWHAT EXPERIMENTAL album from this San Fransisco legend abandoning his earlier blues roots for a diversified collection of material from folk psych to prog rock and all points in between. Commercially, Miller was on a downward curve and this album did nothing to reverse that trend. Amazingly when you listen to this album you can see no corellation between it and say, 'Fly Like An Eagle'. Indeed, even 'The Joker', his follow up album, is quite a leap from the music created here. If, however, you like your rock to take on a fairly unstructured but intense journey then this album is a genuine treat. In hindsight we can now see that Steve was quite a mercurial character willing to take on new challenges just to bypass the predictable. In that light it's a bang up job.
A fantastic copy - looks like it just walked out of the factory yesterday.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. Virtually no signs of any use. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Again, no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully laminated gatefold cover - ratains full gloss. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfectly square and stiff - great 'creak' appeal on opening. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 44 years after release. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
