Description

Steve Reich moved from tape music to this entrancing four keyboard drone composition, released on Angel/Capitol LP S-36059 in 1973.  Reich performs this 'longest chord' composition along with Michael Tilson Thomas and other players.   It's a very enjoyable example of Reich's approach for an audible process in the musical work. The LP also includes Thomas and Grierson playing Cage's drumming and lively "Three Dances" on prepared pianos.  
Disc and jacket VG+, the jacket has a plastic wrap. 
This is a great addition to any vinyl LP collection, contemporary American music, or minimalist style music collection.
