Description
The Streaplers: "The Times They Are A-Changin'"/"You Be My Baby" (Columbia DS 2288, Sweden 1966)
This Swedish band had a long career and made many 45s, some of which are not very rocking... but this is one of their very best recordings! "You Be My Baby" is a cover of an obscure Ray Charles song from the '50s, and the band turns out a really smokin' version that sounds like the best British Mod R&B bands. There is prominent organ on the track and it even gets a solo spot. If this was a British record it would be much more legendary - but it's Swedish and it's still uncomped!
Condition: Record is extremely clean and glossy with practically no signs of use; it has obviously been played only a few times in the past 46 years. Plays loud and clear with hardly any noise! The original picture sleeve has no seam splits, creases, stickers or writing. There is one tear on the back that has been repaired from the inside with transparent tape.

Postage costs: US$6 worldwide, first class (air mail). Not US$4 to the United States, as eBay requires me to state! Carefully packed in new bubble bag with cardboard stiffeners inside.
