Description
MARGARET YOUNG was a terrific and sassy singer in the best Vaudevillian manner. She struts her stuff on this arch, hilarious song, "STUMBLING." It's about a girl whose patience is tried to its limit by her clumsy dance partner.
Miss Young was part of a VERY talented family. Her brother-in-law, RICHARD WHITING was an incomparable song writer; her niece was the hugely successful songbird of the '40s, MARGARET WHITING.
This was composer ZEZ CONFREY'S biggest song hit, along with his instrumental successes, "KITTEN ON THE KEYS" and "NICKEL IN THE SLOT."
On the flip, Margaret waxes melancholy, with "NOBODY LOVES ME NOW."
This original 1922 Brunswick 2284 is in strikingly clean 'n' crisp EE+ condition.
