BEATLES UK, White Album, numbered UK 3rd issue sleeve, with photo spacer.

1968 PCS 7067/7068 - Apple record labels.

An original UK third issue, numbered sleeve, circa 1970/71 in original condition, featuring:

1. by 1970/71 the UK Beatles White Album sleeves had become a ‘side opening’ sleeve with a unique six digit individual number printed on the front. This copy has a unique individual number of, ‘273069’,

2. the record labels on sides one and two are more unusual as they feature, the track title and publishing credit on one line of text,

3. the record labels on sides one and three have a lighter green colour and a ‘matt’, finish to them,

4. the four original photos come with their original photo ‘spacer’ sheet, this protective paper sheet was usually lost or thrown away !,

5. the records come with their original circa 1971, ‘Apple copyright recording’ inner sleeves’.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition. The ‘gate fold’, two record sleeve is fully laminated. The sleeve has remained an excellent fresh white in colour, with an excellent glossy laminate. The laminate is free from any ‘indentations’. The sleeve is a side opening sleeve. On the front of the sleeve it has the wording, ‘The Beatles’ embossed, together with a unique six digit serial number of, ‘273069’. The spine is in excellent++ condition and has remained a fresh, clean white in colour and all of the text on the spine is clear to read, the ref. to ‘PMC mono’ is printed on the spine. When the gate fold sleeve is opened it is in near MINT condition, super clean, white and glossy. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVES: are the original period, white ‘Apple copyright recording’ text inner sleeves. One inner sleeve is in excellent+ condition, there are some some light signs of ageing to one side. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. The other inner sleeve is also in excellent+ condition, there are the beginnings of a slight split to one of the side edges. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE POSTER: the original poster is in near MINT condition. It has remained fresh, clean and white in colour. The poster is made of the period, quality heavy grade paper. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stains, pin holes, sellotape, ‘blue tac’ residue, stickers or sticker residue on the poster.

THE PHOTOS: the original four photos are in near MINT condition. Each photo has excellent clean, white borders and rears. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stains, pin holes, sellotape, ‘blue tac’ residue, stickers or sticker residue on the photos.

THE RECORDS: record one, side one is in excellent condition, side one would have been graded higher, to excellent++, but there is a single light ‘line’, non audible, that runs over tracks one two and three. Side two is in excellent+ condition, side two would have been graded higher, near MINT, but there is a single light ‘line’, non audible that runs over tracks one two and three, NOTE the condition of the playing surfaces have been graded under normal ‘daylight’ conditions. Record two, side three is in excellent++ condition. Side four is in near MINT condition, NOTE the condition of the playing surfaces have been graded under normal ‘daylight’ conditions. The two records are made from the period thick, heavy vinyl and have remained very dark and glossy and ‘look’ hardly played.

The matrix are: YEX 709 - 1, YEX 710 - 1, YEX 711 – 1 and YEX 712 – 1.

The mother / stampers are: ‘2 GTG’, ‘2 RAG’ and ‘1 RAL’ and ‘7 RDR’.

THE AUDIO: each side plays near MINT, each side plays with excellent quiet grooves. Each side plays with a full loud, clear powerful period stereo sound. Each record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: all four record labels are in MINT condition and look unplayed. Each record label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
