Rare UK Beatles record from 1966
Revolver
Y&B Parlophone PMC 7009 Mono
Release date: August 5th 1966
Matrix numbers: XEX-605-2/XEX-606-1
Stamper: 1A/2RL
Very rare 1st press with wrong/alternate Tomorrow Never Knows Mix. This 1st press was only available for a few days only upon release on August 5th 1966. This 1st press contains only an alternate version of the song Tomorrow Never Knows. This version features different sound effects in different places. The track also has a longer fade-out with a piano not audible in all later pressings.
The record is graded as a stunning Mint-. Only a few minimal surface hairlines from in and out and one tiny surface scratch - not hearable. NOT the typical scratched copy ! Heavy and very shiny vinyl - like a mirror. The record is 100% flat and plays without skips or sticks. Never seen in this condition. The final upgrade. The record was handled with great care over the years. Dont miss this beautiful and rare piece of music history.
The rare Ernest cover is in EX condition. Has only light marks from aging and usage (please see attached pictures). But NO hand writings or tears. The spine is fully intact and readable. Also the flipbacks. Only light marks of usage. Ernest J. Day flipbackcover.
Both label are free from any unwanted hand writings or sticker. Good Y&B label with "Sold in UK subject to resale ...." and KT tax code. VG+ because of spindle marks.
Comes with the original Emitex innersleeve in EX condition.
