Description

I am selling my copy of Styx's debut first album titled Styx. It was released on the Wooden Nickel label in August 1972. My copy is a first pressing. I have been the sole owner as I picked this up in 1974 after my friends played me Man Of Miracles and I became an instant Styx fan. It has been stored in an air conditioned non-smoking environment since. I grade my copy as Near Mint. The vinyl looks as if it was never played. The cover is almost flawless. There are a few scuffs in the corners but everything else is close to perfect. The generic original inner sleeve I grade at very good plus. That is only because it has yellowed with age, however there are no seam splits or creases. My copy is from the Indianapolis Press. Also included are the letters S-T-Y-X that are cutouts included with the first album. Unfortunately the letter is missing. You will not find a nicer looking used first press copy of this record anywhere!
