ROCK TODAY - UK 1971 EMI STARLINE - In 1971 Songs from the South African bands: SUCK, Freedom's Children and Otis Waygood were recorded onto a 2lp Sampler. Very few people know of this recording. It is very very very rare. It contains the following songs: (Keep in mind this sampler was recorded the same time these bands had started up, it's no bootleg or RI), The demand to hear these groups was great which is why this smapler was created, anyway songs by group are: War Pigs - SUCK, The Whip - SUCK, Wee Wee Bany - Otis Waygood, 1999 - Freedom's Children, You're Late - Otis Waygood, Fever - Otis Waygood, About the Dove and His King - Freedom's Children, 21st Century Schizoid Man - SUCK, That Did It - Freedom's Children, The Kid Came From Hazareth - Freedom's Children, Watch 'N Chain - Otis Waygood, Aimless Lady - SUCK, The Homecoming - Freedom's Children, In the Sun - Otis Waygood, In Alan's Car - Otis Waygood..... To get these songs from all the orig lp's would cost you a fortune,, Get them here much cheaper. I saw this sample once on ebay and it went for around 400$,,, this is much cheaper,,, 99.99$ and NO RESERVE>>> cover is Vg+ ,,, has some writing on the back cover, and in general there is storage wear,, (Fold Out Cover) with a SUPER pic of the groups like a poster on the inside. The disks are ex/ex they have some minor defects. They both play pretty much ex+,, touch of soft low noise here and there. I doubt very much that you will ever see this rarity again.
