PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MEGA-RARE, long-deleted, original classic 1st issue 2009 US Asthmatic Kitty Records 13-track 2-LP set pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl. The BQE, is a cinematic suite inspired by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and the Hula-Hoop. It was commissioned by the Brooklyn Academy of Music and was originally performed in the Howard Gilman Opera House in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Next Wave Festival in October of 2007. Housed in a beautiful/deluxe tri-fold picture sleeve complete with a large-scale 32-page booklet with liner notes and photographs, a black & white version of the 40-page 'Hooper Heroes' comic book, and code for digital download (flac)

The set stored in a smoke-free household!. The original little clear adhesive that seal the set is still attached over the protective plastic opening ensuring the quality of the product!. This title is brand new and never opened/played condition!. An absolutely stunning copy!!!. Any visible white spots are shine from the lighting and are NOT defects.

Prices for this original 2009 of “SUFJAN STEVENS – THE BBQ” 2-LP pressing continue to rise, even before it was reissued in US my Asthmatic Kitty Records and Rough Trade. It was pressed up in unknown small vinyl quantities, so it's very rare now, and will be increased in value. Most sealed/mint copies that surface are the later gatefold pressings, but it is the rare 2009 1st pressing with the tri-fold jacket and the code for digital download that sold out almost everywhere and fethces high prices when ever turn up in sealed condition. So do your research and ask the right question before you buy this.

Do not second guess yourself on this masterpiece because once gone it's gone forever and will skyrocket in price on the collectors market
