Description
Up for 3-day auction is a rare copy of SUN RA / FATE IN A PLEASANT MOOD on the original metallic gold with red lettering SATURN 9956 label. Matrix numbers SR-9956-2- A and B, followed by Saturn in cursive writing and 'BP' initials scratched in the dead vinyl. This is an original from Chicago, IL, around 1966. Front and Back cover are nice, tight, and clean with no stains or discoloration. Note that the spine says, "FAITH..." Sight ring wear front side top and bottom. Nice gold color on the labels. Record I am grading VG to VG minus, both sides. There is some surface paper abrasion and light marks not affecting play. A few light scratches side A not affecting play. More noticeable there seems to be a pressing flaw in the same spots where it lines up on both sides. The spots are on the second songs both sides. Tracking is fine, but there is some noticeable static-like noise, but not too bad. I tried to capture this in the last photo.
