Description

ONLY YOU MIX BY JOHN MORALES **SUNSHINE SOUND ACETATE**

Sunshine Sound was a studio where DJs could bring their reel to reel tapes and have acetate copies cut one at a time. Many club DJs created their own mixes and wanted discs cut instead of the tape so they could mix into and out of the acetate platter. Their was alot of demand for some of these mixes that sometimes extra copies were made and sold and distributed in NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles.

The acetates were cut between 1974 to 1982 and sold at locations including Downstairs Records in NYC and Record Connection in LA.

RECORD CONDITION IS VG+

All records are vintage pressings. We do not sell contemporary reissues/bootlegs.

RECORD GRADING:

NM (Near Mint): Our highest grade. Like new, most likely unplayed.

VG++: A record that has a few visual imperfections that will not affect the sound. Likely played only a handful of times or never at all.

VG+: A few more surface marks than a VG++. The record has probably been played before but well taken care of and should play with very few audible imperfections.

VG: The record will display light surface scuffs and marks. Expect some light surface noise in parts or a few clicks or pops here and there. A VG record will play with very minimal noise and will still be quite enjoyable. We think our VG grade is conservative.

VG-: The record may have some deeper audible scatches. There will be some clicks and pops more consistently than that of a VG record but will play without skipping.

G: The record will have heavy wear and very apparent surface noise.

Poor: Records with this grade should be considered unplayable.
