TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all in great condition! Here is one of those early,super rare and highly collectible LP`s by 1950's-'60's artists, The Super Stocks (with Gary Usher) - for all the "surfin' song" collectors, as well as all you R'n'Rer's out there - and certainly one LP I never thought I'd ever let go, but....... The ultra rare album is a collection of "surf related" songs entitled "Surf Route 101" by The Super Stocks, from 1964. It features 12 classic "surfing" songs plus the extremely rare "bonus 45" that came in the special album slot with all early presses (read about it below) - and all of this is in MONO and in outstanding, near mint shape - not too mention the neat "classic car cover" jacket (but, see the all the photos above for the song titles and much more). After everything else I have mentioned, the piece even comes with it's original Capitol Records inner sleeve for all you purists out there. LABEL INFO: This original Capitol Label (T-2113) is nearly perfect with no issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play time - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is equally as shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any need of a mention. In my opinion, the vinyl looks as good as the day it was 1st purchased - really!!. BONUS 45: The "bonus" 45 is entitled "Doing The Surfink/Finksville, USA" by Mr. Gasser And The Wierdos, and is also in near perfect condition - again, I see no flaws whatsoever. JACKET INFO: Finally, like everything else, this "car cover" jacket is super nice and nearly perfect. I don't see anything negative about it at all - maybe just a couple super small scuff marks in two of the corners - but really, it's hardly noticeable. In my opinion, it's also practically as good as new! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this ultra rare, very hard to find, and highly collectible LP (with the bonus 45) is in outstanding shape for an opened record, and may have never been actually played - it honestly looks that good! Regardless of that however, it's certainly one extremely rare and super nice find. So, please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
