Description
Superb audiophile original master recording on the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab label, MFSL 1-041, ‘Powerful People’ by Gino Vannelli, dated 1974, a stunning recording half-speed production and mastering by Original Mastering Works. Vinyl weighs in at approx 120g.
Sleeve has small corner crushes, corner wear and some obvious edge wear, with a little storage rubbing, but colour and structure are still very nice and it certainly grades EX minus. Foldout Card inner and Flyer both have a tiny corner crease and grade EX.
Vinyl is flat, no warp, and plays superbly. It has a very light, small scuff on side B, band 1, and a very faint ‘under the groove’ manufacturing line on side A, but neither of these difficult-to-spot minor flaws impact on the superb audio. A little crackle at the start of each side before the music starts, and a very occasional light dust click, but this is all mentioned purely for transparency and openness. This is a great record that certainly grades EX+.
