Description

Here's an extremely rare artifact: a purple marble vinyl test of disc 1 of the original 1979 Superman: The Movie soundtrack (Warner Bros. 2BSK 3257). This colored vinyl prototype was never meant to be issued; the second disc in the set was never pressed along with it. However, we are including a copy of the commercially available double LP and gatefold cover, along with the test disc. The purple vinyl LP is in excellent condition, very close to M- with some faint sleeve marks visible under bright light. The double-LP standard album is in VG+ condition, including cover, insert and printed inner sleeves. See pics above.
