AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING PIECE OF WORK AND IN MY OPINION THEIR FINEST
UNPLAYED PRIOR TO MY PLAY-CHECK BOTH RECORDS SOUND WONDERFUL WITH JUST A FEW ISOLATED SOFT TICKS ON SOME OF THE QUIETEST SECTIONS BEING THE ONLY AUDIBLE ISSUE OF NOTE (nothing I found at all intrusive and present on my own personal copy - from new) PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO AVOID GIVEN THE VINYL MEDIUM AND THE VIRTUAL SILENCE OF THE MUSIC AT THESE POINTS - AND ANY VINYL COPY GRADED AS MINT WILL SOUND JUST THE SAME
Play it over and over, and you will still find amazing things in Supersilent's 6.
The level of unspoken understanding, interplay, and clarity of vision in experimentation is beyond words.
This album was put together from four days of improvisations in the studio with no over-dubbing.
The sleeve doesn't mention the group members - to reinforce the idea of a collective effort - but the press release confirms that the lineup has remained the same.
The music follows the ambient path laid down in 5, while adding more textural noise and hypnotic rhythms.
The set unfolds delicately, immersing the listener on an hour-long journey of absolute beauty
